The Tackle Throwback is a classic trick play allowing an offensive lineman to score a touchdown. The key to this is to give the officials a heads-up before the game and the tackle must get enough depth to be behind the depth of the QB in order for this to be legal.
|QB||Fake Pitch Boot to the strength of the set up over the Y and throw back to the Tackle|
|T||Seal the front side edge|
|X||Across motion to a flat route|
|Y||Block to the call|
|C||Set playside release to the WLB|
|BSG||Waterfall set lead block the ally|
|BST||Waterfall set get depth faid making sure to get deeper than the QB catch the ball and score|
